The unique ability to use different renewable energy sources to achieve maximum efficiency finds its direct analogy with the Platonic shape of the dodecahedron.

Dodecaedro is the most powerful multi-source DYNAMO machine that combines the energy flows of Sun, Air, Earth and Water and guarantees electricity, heating, cooling and production of DHW.

The shape of the Dodecaedro has a double meaning: it responds perfectly to functional needs thanks to the balanced relationship between volume and exposed surfaces and recalls the philosophical meaning of the connection between the four elements.

Dynamo Dodecaedro is able to air condition in heat and cool an area of about one thousand two hundred square meters of an energy building in class A, to produce domestic hot water for the daily use of 30 people and to produce electricity for uses related to the air conditioning system and lighting systems.

Dynamo technology helps to reduce the environmental impact by producing and accumulating electricity and heat exclusively from renewable sources. The use of the Dodecaedro, compared to a traditional energy system, can avoid the annual emission of about 30 tons of CO2.

Dynamo Dodecaedro combines multiple technologies to use natural sources and produce energy.

The walls of the Dodecaedro are made with the latest generation of thin film photovoltaic panels and made to measure. The capturing power of photovoltaics is expanded by the presence of a reflective screen at the base of the solid. The sunlight that hits the reflective surface is in fact reflected and diffused in the direction of the faces facing down the Dodecahedron.

The thermal heart of the machine is represented by a geothermal (or aerothermal) heat pump and a system of inertial accumulations. The electrical energy of the photovoltaic panels ensures the power supply of the heat pump and its auxiliary appliances, while the electric battery serves to store the surplus energy accumulated during the daylight hours of greatest production and provides it if necessary for domestic users. Energy inputs and outputs are managed and optimised by a central control system.

DYNAMO DODECAEDRO - Get energy the easy way

The structure of Dynamo Dodecaedro can be completely dismantled and assembled on site, and all structural components can be transported in containers. The backbone of the solid consists of 11 pentagons made of tubular metal with a section of 70x70x3, and a special element constituting the access door. The pentagons are assembled on site by bolting L-shaped plates bent at the appropriate angle.
